Memes

Memes have become very popular in the last years and most of the people use them in different situations. But first,here are some questions and answers that can help you understand what is a meme
What is a meme? A meme is a virally-transmitted cultural symbol or social idea. The "meme" word was first introduced by evolutionary biologist,Richard Dawkins in 1976. "meme" comes from the Greek word "mimema" (meaning "something imitated",American heritage dictionary)
What could be considered as a meme? The majority of modern memes are captioned photos that are intended to be funny,often as a way to publicly ridicule human behavior. Other memes can be videos and verbal expressions and some memes have heavier philosophical content
What kind of information contains a meme? The content itself is usually something of minor everyday consequence: Jokes,urban legends,tv and movie references or human and animal oddities. In rare cases memes can be profound art,music curiosities and even a philosophical idea
Where can you find memes? Even if you can see memes everywhere,internet is where they became popular and viral. You can find memes in facebook pages,forums like 4chan,Twitter,Tumblr and other pages. On youtube you can see videos where some memes became popular

Different kind of memes: Some examples

Humor: This kind of memes are meant to be funny,sometimes are nonsense things,facial expressions,or jokes
Relatable:This kind of memes are intended to be relatable with us and the things we do or think

Sad:Most of sad memes are ironic and sarcastic,and they make fun of sad or depressed people to make them relatable with our mood

Other memes :Other kind of memes are more profound and they are intended to make fun or just being sarcastic with important things such as: politic,feminism,diseases,etc.
Momo:This kind of "memes" are very popular among spanish speaking countries,but we can find them in english too.They are also called as "toxic memes" because they are full of black jokes,sexist jokes,jokes about serious diseases,xenophobia,religion,etc,but in some way are funny,even if we don't like them
ARE MEMES BAD? This is a question that most of us have thought about,and the answer is yes and no,because as i showed you before,there are different kind of memes for different kind of people or situations
