The authorities of Rio Grande announced an important event on Plaza Almirante Brown this Saturday called "Take your pet", where you can adopt stray dogs and take care of them.

The event is destinated for the whole family and will begin at 15 pm, in front of the city council.

The aim of this initiative is to adopt those homeless animals and raise awareness about the problem of stray dogs in the city since it is an issue that is growing up at a danger scale.

About that, the council Paulino Rossi, the organiser of the event said: "the initiative started  from a join work, that is being made with this organisations because we think it's a priority to face the problem of stray and abandoned dogs in the streets"

Daniel (23), an activist anti animal abuse gave us hard words: "I would rather prefer people get homeless instead of poor dogs, no one listens to them"

Irma (75) said: "I used to usually give those pretty dogs the leftovers of my food, you know, I feel pity for them because they can´t choose a family and now i am very comfortable knowing that they´ll have a home and a family for being loved"

The cold weather affects directly the whole population and makes them be worried about the animals.

Dogs that are homeless are now 15 out of 100, a number that is increasing and the most of the dogs are malnourished and without vaccines. That's why this event was made, to encourage adoption, where people can adopt dogs and get the vaccines free.

So, why wouldn't you take a poor homeless puppy and get them a new family?

A truck driver was crossed by a gas tube on the route 90. The accident happened in New Orleans, Louisiana, at 6am. Yesterday.

There weren't victims involved in the accident. The driver, David Staples (31), managed to escape on time. However the driver that caused the accident tried to run away of the scene but was arrested two hours later. Now he is at the New Orleans police station with several charges against him. After the incident, David said: "I've been driving all the night, relaxed and listening to the radio, then I heard a noise on the route and in a blink of an eye, I had been crossed by a tube"

The notice started when David called the police. After that when they caught Chauncey Hopkins (37), the driver who was carrying the tubes, the police realised that he was under the effects of the alcohol.

David only got minor superficial injuries.

Because of the research about the accident made by the police, the route was cut for 5 hours, causing a chaos on the traffic.

Short stories

Short stories are good to pass the time,some of them are very old like fairytales,anothers are quite new like creepypastas. What is a short story? is a narrative shorter than a novel and it usually deals with a few characters and omits a complex plot.

To be interesting,the short story needs a simple plot and a few characters to be easy to understand,at the beginning,jump into the action and at the end,wind up the story quickly. Personally speaking,i prefer short fantasy stories or creepypastas.
And what is a creepypasta? the word creepypasta comes from "creepy" and "copy-paste" and is used for the copied and pasted horror stories of internet or short horror stories created on the internet and copied in another places. Is a word created in 4chan in 2006.
An example of creepypasta could be "Ben Drowned",is about a young man that bought a cursed cartridge of "Zelda Majora's Mask" on a garage sale,when he plays the game he begins to suspect it is haunted by a ghost of a boy named Ben,who drowned.

Social medias

What is a social media?
  A social media is a site where you can share and post things,info,photos,videos,etc. And also chat with your family or friends. There are different types of social medias or social networks such as forums,sites where you can post photos,videos,poems,sites or apps exclusively to chat.
  In my case,I have 4 (four) principal social networks: Facebook,Youtube,Deviantart,Tumblr and sometimes Twitter,and i share basic information like my name and surname,my birthday,my gender,my location (just my country,not province or city) and the things i like and dislike. On some of my social networks i just share memes or videos,in others i show my work like my drawings,animations or my homework like these blog.

The influence of social media on teenagers is of particular importance,not because this particular group of children is developmentally vulnerable,but also because they are among the heaviest users of social networking. While they are using a social network, teens have the opportunity to learn,share and post things or make friends but also are exposed to suffer different things like cyberbullying, depression, or sexting. Internet,and more important: social networks have good and bad things

Advantages:-Instant worldwide connection

-Many people have found a job through advertisements on many social network groups

-Thanks to social networks, many problems have been reported or many problems can now be recognized because of the massive people who share the publications 

-Expand your business and projects, if you have a business you can share the location,publish your ideas and find your customers' preferences. If you have a project you can find people interested in what you are doing so you can  become popular and success

-You can be yourself,on the internet you can be free and anonymous,in many social networks you can share the things you like without worrying about what the others think

Disadvantages: 

-You can get hacked.

-some people neglect their real social life,job,family etc,because they are addicted to social networks or internet in general.
-if you put too much personal information they can steal your personal identity
-if we use too much a social network we waste our time and productivity
-Sometimes, people who use social networks have a false self-esteem, they share their photos just because they want likes and if they don't get them they become depressed
-Some people publish and share all the things that they are doing all the time,that's not only very dangerous,but is also really annoying.

Memes have become very popular in the last years and most of the people use them in different situations. But first,here are some questions and answers that can help you understand what is a meme
What is a meme? A meme is a virally-transmitted cultural symbol or social idea. The "meme" word was first introduced by evolutionary biologist,Richard Dawkins in 1976. "meme" comes from the Greek word "mimema" (meaning "something imitated",American heritage dictionary)
What could be considered as a meme? The majority of modern memes are captioned photos that are intended to be funny,often as a way to publicly ridicule human behavior. Other memes can be videos and verbal expressions and some memes have heavier philosophical content
What kind of information contains a meme? The content itself is usually something of minor everyday consequence: Jokes,urban legends,tv and movie references or human and animal oddities. In rare cases memes can be profound art,music curiosities and even a philosophical idea
Where can you find memes? Even if you can see memes everywhere,internet is where they became popular and viral. You can find memes in facebook pages,forums like 4chan,Twitter,Tumblr and other pages. On youtube you can see videos where some memes became popular

Humor: This kind of memes are meant to be funny,sometimes are nonsense things,facial expressions,or jokes

Relatable:This kind of memes are intended to be relatable with us and the things we do or think

Sad:Most of sad memes are ironic and sarcastic,and they make fun of sad or depressed people to make them relatable with our mood

Other memes :Other kind of memes are more profound and they are intended to make fun or just being sarcastic with important things such as: politic,feminism,diseases,etc.

Momo:This kind of "memes" are very popular among spanish speaking countries,but we can find them in english too.They are also called as "toxic memes" because they are full of black jokes,sexist jokes,jokes about serious diseases,xenophobia,religion,etc,but in some way are funny,even if we don't like them

ARE MEMES BAD? This is a question that most of us have thought about,and the answer is yes and no,because as i showed you before,there are different kind of memes for different kind of people or situations
